Accessibility statement
iPray UK is committed to making this website usable by everyone — including people with disabilities and those using assistive technology.
Last updated: 30 April 2026
Our commitment
We've built this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That's the standard public bodies and serious websites in the UK aim for.
What we've done
- Keyboard navigation — every link, button, and form field on the site can be reached and used with a keyboard alone.
- Visible focus states — when you tab through the site, the element you're on is clearly outlined in iPray orange.
- Colour contrast — body text on background passes WCAG AA contrast ratios. Headings and CTAs pass with substantial margin.
- Alt text on every meaningful image — screen readers can describe what the image is showing.
- Semantic HTML — proper heading hierarchy, form labels, landmark regions (header / main / footer) so screen readers can navigate logically.
- Touch targets at least 44×44 pixels on mobile — no fiddly buttons.
- Video with no auto-playing audio — the hero video plays muted; we never auto-play sound.
- No flashing content — nothing on the site flashes at rates that could trigger seizures.
- Readable typography — Inter and Sora at minimum 16px body, with responsive scaling.
Known limitations
We're being honest about what's not yet perfect:
- Some gallery images may have less-detailed alt text than ideal — we're improving these as we audit.
- The video player controls rely on the browser's native controls, which vary in keyboard-friendliness across browsers.
- Embedded third-party content (PayPal donate widget, where present) follows that provider's accessibility — outside our control.
Trouble with the site?
If you've come across a part of this site that doesn't work well for you with assistive technology, we genuinely want to know. We'll fix what we can, fast.
Enforcement procedure
The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the UK Equality Act 2010 in this area. If you contact us with an accessibility complaint and aren't happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).
